It’s been quite a while since I’ve written an anime review, so I figured I’d throw this in for the time being. Rather than “formal” reviews, these are like miniature rants. But I do have some good things to say. Some.
Of all the emotions that music can incite, anger isn’t really one of them for me unless a song is really bad and I just want it to stop. But since I don’t want to post bad music, I’ll go with something different.
While I’m actually not caught up with everything from last season yet (which is why I haven’t done an end-of-season post), I decided to check out the first episodes of a few series that seemed worth checking out. Unlike last season, I will not attempt watching twelve shows.

Well, here’s my second “Top 5” list for last year. 2013 felt like a great year for anime, with several series that aired becoming some of my favorites. You’ll probably notice that I don’t have a #5, and I’ve explained why below – there are five anime on this list.
